An installation forming the workdesk of a fictive person, who observes other people doing their job through a 24-hour online webcamera stream. The stream arrives through the web from another point of the world, but still setting up an observer-observed relation – although distanced in space, similar to those between the slavekeepers and the slaves during the colonial times. The visitor is welcome to interact with the work – to join (or reflect upon) this process by taking notes, making sketches or moving the scraps around.
