Silence SO Loud
2019
A piezo-speaker stuck between two rocks, that is functioning as a contact microphone, while also outputting the noise recorded through itself, creating a constant feedback loop. An installation amplifying the silence of two dense materials weighing on each other. The piece aims to reveal the common places of our synesthetic thinking: the loud sound we would associate to the materiality of the soundsources is far from its sounding reality.
